We are seeking a highly qualified individual for the position of Sales Lead, to become a valued member of the Cloudtech Leadership team. As the Sales Lead, you will be accountable to the Chief Executive Officer, and your primary responsibility will be to assemble a proficient and skilled team of professionals who will concentrate on developing scalable pathways to penetrate the market and tackle complex cloud-based problems that customers encounter. You will be instrumental in designing, constructing, and implementing a successful channel strategy to help us achieve our goals.
Responsibilities
- You will help support and execute the sales strategy which includes enablement, driving net new revenue, supporting strategic, go-to-market plays, and working closely with marketing, Engineering, and AWS Partnership team.
- Good to have an understanding and working knowledge of the AWS ecosystem including cloud technologies, APN portal, sales organization, and value proposition in the marketplace.
- Build a pipeline and generate new revenue, focusing mostly on new logo clients with high potential for Cloudtech.
- Partner with Cloudtech’s marketing to support joint marketing initiatives with internal sales and marketing teams as well as external partner and Client marketing teams.
- Communicate regularly with Cloudtech’s Partnerships/Alliances, partner operations, and Executive teams.
- Create account-level strategies to successfully achieve client business goals.
- Educate Clients and AWS on Cloudtech’s capabilities and success stories to effectively communicate Cloudtech’s value prop to both CSP partners and customers.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a Sales role targeting US F1000 clients, working jointly with AWS teams, and cloud consulting experience is good to have.
- Excellent day-to-day working relationship with the AWS sales team, partner success managers, vertical leadership, and ProServe.
- Prior experience in achieving individual sales targets of at least USD 2-5Mn working with various AWS teams and building trusted relationships with senior leadership.
- Proven track record in targeting and selling in Retail, Banking, Tech, Media, and Telecom Industry verticals.
- Ability to work in an onshore-offshore model (US/India) and collaborate with multi-functional teams across levels.
